Reservations are available up to three weeks in advance and are made available on the first day of every month. ​ Walk-ins are always welcome but we highly recommend making a reservation in advance for proper accommodations. Regular reservations, which are limited to up to 8 guests, are based on a two hour reservation block, and all seating closes 30 minutes after sunset. About The Farm Hodges Family Farm llc The farmhouse, located at 131 Montoe Road in Waterbury, CT was built in 1899, the land was acquired by Army Veteran Anthony Hodges who began renovating the property as a way to help deal with PTSD. Hodges Family Farm LLC. was established in 2015 and what started as a family project with his parents, aunts, uncles, siblings, cousins, and friends, eventually grew into a community effort with volunteers coming to help maintain the land every weekend. As we tend to the land and share stories about our childhoods spent growing up on family farms, we create laughs, lasting memories and aspirations of what the future will bring. With the hard work and dedication of so many, Hodges Family Farm LLC. is now open for the public to enjoy. We hope to see you soon! A Farmer's Legacy The tradition of farming is strong in the Hodges family, their ancestors spent their lifetime as share-croppers post slavery and although they didn’t have the land to pass down through the generations, the knowledge, skills and traditions have remained in their family for over 100 years. Being able to share this legacy with their children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews is what they strive to preserve. Pick Your Own Produce NOW BOOKING FOR SUMMER 2023 Pick Your Own Season Runs From July - Late October Pick Your Own Produce Whether you are seeking a quiet escape, starting a new family tradition, hunting for delicious fruits & vegetables, or searching for a gorgeous backdrop for photos Hodges Family Farm LLC. is the place for you! By picking your own produce at Hodges Family Farm LLC. you will find fresh, locally grown, sustainable pesticide free seasonal fruits & vegetables that you won't find in a grocery store! What Can I Pick ? Our offerings vary based on the time of the season. There fresh eggs available daily. The best berry picking is mid July thru September. Berry picking is heavily dependent on weather and supply. Vegetables also vary throughout the season which runs from July thru late October. Remember to frequently visit our Online Farm Stand to see what is available. Please Reserve Your Visit Online In Advance Here's What To E x pect When you arrive at Hodges Family Farm LLC. you will be given all the supplies you need for your Pick Your Own Produce experience! But, feel free to bring your favorite gardening gloves or gardening clippers. Pick Your Own Produce Reservations must be made online in advance. Reservations can only be made for the current week. Children ages 0-10 are welcomed for free. Members receive priority booking and free admission to Pick Your Own Produce with their membership card & complimentary tote bag. Save money and guarantee your reservation with a Fill Your Tote Membership ! Properly Plan Your Visi t Admission to the fields goes directly towards paying our great staff and keeping our family farm permanently preserved, productive, beautiful, clean, and open to enjoy.
